These items are displayed on tables in our Parish Hall, and anyone can take any items they may need. Any items not claimed after Sunday are then donated to Thriftsmart, a local thrift store that weighs the items and gives us $10 gift cards for every 100 lbs. donated. We can then give those gift cards to others in need as they request assistance. We are so grateful for the generosity and kindness of our community, and invite all to participate in this monthly event. Feel free to call our church office with any questions at (615) 833-0476.

Christ Lutheran Church is providing an alternative gift giving option for families with children and teens in our community who want to give a gift to someone they care about but lack the money to do so. At Santa's Workshop they can choose among various tables to make jewelry, personalized gifts, stuffed bears, Christmas ornaments, and other items. Lunch and snacks will be provided for everyone.
Whatever is not claimed by the end of the weekend is taken to Thriftsmart, a local thrift store, and for every 100 lbs. of donated material given, we receive a $10 Gift Card we can then give to others in need. It's a wonderful way to share what we have with our communities who might need furniture, clothing, nonperishable food or other household items. THANK YOU for your generosity and kindness in this Thanksgiving season!
At the Lord’s table we gather with the faithful of every time and place, trusting that the promises of God will be fulfilled and that all tears will be wiped away in the new Jerusalem.
ALSO, we will be celebrating our Annual Thanksgiving Dinner this Sunday after worship. Please join us a bring a side dish or dessert to share. ALL ARE WELCOME.
